It’s headcanon time!

So you know how at the end they’re all up there cornering Loki and he’s like

“Haha, I’d like a drink now! Please don’t kill me.”

Well 3 of the Avengers have z-axis transportation, right?

Thor, Iron Man, and Hulk.

And then it’s like vital plot points that Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Cap CANNOT and their jet kind of broke, so they’re grounded. And I think the suit ran out of power, so Tony’s gonna need a lift too. But Natasha’s already there because she’s way ahead of the game and is actually going to the source of the problem, so they don’t need to worry about getting her up there.

So that leaves Hulk and Thor for getting Tony, Steve, and Clint up to the top of a fucking skyscraper. 

And Thor’s a big guy, but realistically he can carry maybe one of them.

And Tony’s OBVIOUSLY going to be traveling first class with Hulk carrying him, and I’m sure that there was a King Kong joke in there somewhere as he ascended the skyscraper, but that means someone else is going to have to clamber onto the Hulk’s back and hold on for dear sweet life while he jumps/climbs up there.

I cannot get this image out of my head and it makes me wish I had any kind of artistic talent whatsoever because I imagine that this made Hulk really happy because he’s a big damn hero and now everyone’s hugging him, but then like, Steve or Clint (probably Clint, because Thor and Steve just bonded over being warriors in a completely foreign world and feeling out of their depth so they’re new bffs) is just near screaming because they are flying through the air and fretting for their life and Tony’s like having the time of his life with the biggest shit eating grin on his face and yeah, I’m done now.
