Followers! There’s suddenly a whole bunch of you. Hi there!!! :D Thanks for watching. When there’s some more of you I was hoping to take mini(ie audio-only/quick) requests ;o;
Here’s the next 3 songs I wanted to try doing covers/making vids of. Tell me what you think, maybe? ~__~
I love those Layton games, and the music always makes them even more quaint. Also, the theme has this supercool accordion/violin melody.
My friend, TM119 made a really, really good Latin-esque midi accompaniment to go with it, too.
Plato’s Stepchildren was, of course, one of those infamous Spock-being-made-to-act-not-like-Spock episodes… and it just happened to have this Leonard Nimoy song in it.
The studio version is pretty… cheesy >_> tbh… but this simple lyre-accompanied version gets it just right (and ohhh, I love Nimoy’s voice (♥♥♥♥♥ deep, baritone voices… Alan Rickman? Oren Lavie? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥)
I have the melody written out already, just need to figure out the accompaniment part.
Thiiiiiissssss….. is kind of a long shot. >___> I really want to try to do a 3-violin arrangement of this SUPER EPIC AWESOME song in time for the Supernatural season 7 start (……. Castiel ಥ_ಥ …..)
It’s really hard to arrange, though, and I’m not sure if it’d sound any good on acoustic violin, or if I have the time to get it all done in time gaahhhh @___@
You’re still reading? xD
Well, ah…also… for the next video by the Doctor Who Fan Orchestra (playing a This is Gallifrey/Vale Decem arrangement) I was going to submit a video for them to stick into their montage……. and decided to sort of dress up like the eighth doctor……
I have such a huuuuuuge weakness for that sort of clothing style. I had to get a couple of pictures ~_____~;;;
Portrait style! <——> Fem!Eight-ish? River Song-ish? … ish? D:
And Katie, I have no idea, but I think he totally looks like your type.
“There are nearly seven billion people on this planet. Each one unique, different. What are the chances of that? And why? Is it simply biology, physiology that determines this diversity? A collection of thoughts, memories, experiences that carve out our own special place? Or is it something more than this? Perhaps there’s a master plan that drives the randomness of creation, something unknowable that dwells in the soul, and presents each one of us with a unique set of challenges, that will help us discover who we really are.”—Tim kring (via drinktheantidote)
